Jane Addams Elementary students and staff blasted off into an evening of Earth and space science exploration at their STEM Night last week.🌏 This incredible event was well attended by our amazing families, and we can’t thank them enough for making it such a success. Your support means so much to our students and staff! CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS
Students rotated through four hands-on, interactive, and even edible learning stations:
Rocket Building – Crafted with fruit
Constellation Creation – Made with pretzels and marshmallows
Planet Making – Designed with suckers and gummy rings
Moon Phases – Demonstrated with Oreo cookies
Each station featured an educational video or worksheet to deepen learning, and the highlight of the night was the Star Lab, rented from Regional Office of Education-51. Students stepped inside to be completely immersed in outer space, spotting constellations they had just learned about – and they absolutely loved it!
A huge thank you to our families for your engagement and enthusiasm. Your participation fuels our students' curiosity and love for learning. This event was one of our biggest attendance numbers yet!!!
STEM is the future, and Jane Addams is reaching for the stars!
