Good morning Hazel Dell families! Happy Monday! We have some upcoming events! On Wednesday, Nov. 20th the pies from the pie sale will be delivered. Please be ready to pick them up at dismissal time. On Tuesday, November 26th we will have a virtual Lunch and Learn with Nurse Melissa and Dr. Vidya Sundareshan. We will talk about keeping our kids healthy and when to send them to school vs. when to keep them home.

Hello families, we have received our produce delivery today so PLEASE stop by and pick up eggs, sliced cheese, bag of potatoes, ground pork and apples . AND there are small boxes with shredded cheese, butter, and 1% modern pantry milk in it. Just take a whole box of those. Have a happy Thursday!!!!

United Way fundraiser update! Our Coin Wars have begun! 1st Grade has the most money, $3.15, and 5th Grade is in second place with $1.62. 2nd Grade has $0.25, and K and 4th Grade each have $0.01. 3rd Grade is—$5.00. Bring your coins to put in your buckets and paper money to put in other grades' buckets to subtract from their total. The winning Grade will receive a pizza party. Raffle tickets for dodgeball, pie in the face, and tape Ms. Burris to the wall will be available at lunch tomorrow., Tomorrow is dress in orange and black like Halloween for Spirit Week. Good afternoon, Hazel Dell families! We are so excited about our United Way Fundraising week and Spirit week! Please join us in dressing up this week. We have Coin Wars going all week and raffle tickets for purchase. Our upcoming Family and Community Engagement Meeting is currently scheduled for Election Day, so we will reschedule it for 11/12.
Our United Way campaign at Hazel Dell is kicking off., We will be doing many fun things to raise money: coin wars, Staff vs. Student dodgeball, pie in the face of a staff member, tape Ms. Burris to a wall, and snack passes 7 for $5. Snack passes are available now, and raffle tickets and coin wars will be next week. See the flyer below for details.

During the last week of October, we are having Spirit Week. Please join us for the fun!
As a reminder, Thursday, October 17th, will be a 60-minute early dismissal for all students to accommodate Parent-Teacher Conferences. Additionally, there will be no school on Friday, October 18th, as conferences will continue throughout the day.
We value the opportunity to connect with you during these conferences to discuss your child’s academic progress and growth. Your involvement and partnership are essential to their success, and we appreciate your commitment to their educational journey.
