Good Afternoon. This is a friendly reminder that today - August 23rd, is an early dismissal. We will begin car rider dismissal at 2:20 p.m. today.
Hazel Dell will sponsor our Meet the Teacher Ice Cream Social on August 29th from 5:30-6:30.

It is forecasted to be an extremely hot day tomorrow. Please make sure you student has a water bottle tomorrow. We will have water filling stations.

If you have not already registered your student for the 2023-24 school year, please do so today. All students need to register, even those who attended Hazel Dell last school year. You can register in -person at Hazel Dell until 2:00 pm. Ms. Walker can help you navigate the online registration process, make copies of documents, and provide log-in support.
If you choose to utilize the online registration process at home or without coming to the school, please try registering your student today so we can begin building class schedules. In-person registration is from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm until school starts.

Due to the power outage, the Administrative Office is closed. If you need immediate assistance, please contact the Business Office at 217-525-3040. We expect to resume normal operations Monday, July 3.
All summer school programs and SCOPE are canceled Friday, June 30, to allow maintenance staff to assess and clean up buildings and grounds.
We expect all programs to resume next week as normally scheduled.
All students and staff in summer programs are safe. Buses will run at the normal time, but routes may take longer due to traffic or blocked streets. Families are welcome to pick up students early. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority.
Next Week is Spirit Week for Hazel Dell!
4th/5th Grade tutoring is canceled today.
The 5th Graders at Hazel Dell assisted the kindergartners with planting flowers and grass.
Hazel Dell's Moms Breakfast is coming up on May 12th. Flyers with RSVPs have gone home. If you click on Hazel Dell News, you will be redirected to an online RSVP.
Families, please join us for Kindergarten Preview Night this Tuesday, April 25th from 6-7 p.m.!
Kindergarten preview night is open to all children who turn 5 on or before September 1, 2023. Join us at your child's school at 6 pm to tour the school and learn more about your child's educational future with District 186.
